Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Lead Maintenance to oversee property upkeep and apartment make-readies under the Community Manager. You will handle repairs in resident units and coordinate preventive maintenance across common areas.

Bring 2+ years in apartment maintenance, EPA certification, and a toolset. Strong English, basic carpentry/plumbing skills, and a valid driver’s license are required. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits with room to grow.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver's license with good record.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations and work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and clean HVAC vents; perform light electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Paint interiors/exteriors and perform carpentry and small repairs.
• Maintain sprinkler systems and pool chemical levels; prevent maintenance issues.
• Inspect units, assist in make-ready, and supervise subcontractors when needed.
• Assist in on-call and standby emergency coverage; keep accurate records.
