Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance on-site to oversee property upkeep, perform repairs in resident apartments, and assist in preparing units for rent. You will supervise maintenance tasks, coordinate with the Community Manager, and ensure safety and quality in all work performed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in apartment maintenance or related trades, strong communication in English, EPA-related knowledge, and own basic tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience or related trade knowledge (electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC).
• Excellent English communication; Spanish a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across units and facilities.
• Replace filters and clean AC vents; maintain sprinkler systems and pool chemicals.
• Repair HVAC systems, lights, switches, outlets, and basic plumbing fixtures.
• Paint, carpentry, and miscellaneous make-ready work for move-ins/out.
