Job summary
Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee the maintenance of the property and perform repairs in resident apartments under the Community Manager. The role includes preparing units for rent, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring safety and efficiency across all maintenance operations.

Qualifications
- Minimum two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade requiring basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
- Must have strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- EPA certification for refrigerants is required.
- Own a basic set of hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.
- Willingness to travel and work weekends when needed.
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests from residents within 24 hours.
- Perform HVAC repairs and light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Maintain and repair sprinkler systems and pool chemistry levels.
- Refurbish apartments prior to resident occupancy (make-ready).
- Supervise subcontractors and coordinate maintenance tasks.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and inspections across the property.
