Job summary

Burford's Construction LLC is seeking a working foreman with proven leadership to supervise vegetation management crews. The role emphasizes safety, efficient crew scheduling, and effective communication with customers to explain work practices and outcomes.

The candidate will lead training on pruning techniques, operate and maintain equipment safely, and participate in storm restoration efforts when required. Strong English skills and a proactive, accountable approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent experience in a leadership/foreman role.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices following company policies and procedures.
• Schedule crews and assign their work.
• Lead, train, and coach team members on pruning and line clearance techniques.
• Communicate with customers about project issues, procedures, and outcomes.
• Inspect and maintain PPE, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate and inspect the work of crew members and ensure work is completed as planned.
• Readily join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Maintain records and perform company paperwork as required.
• Adhere to the Line Clearance Contract with the Owner.
