Job summary

Burford's Construction is seeking a seasoned Foreman with strong leadership to manage vegetation management crews. You will enforce safety, schedule and supervise pruning operations, and maintain project documentation.

The role demands clear customer communication and the ability to adapt to changing plans in a dynamic field environment. Candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership, reliable teamwork, and the capacity to train less experienced climbers and bucket operators.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices following policies.
• Schedule crews and assign their work.
• Maintain records (written and electronic).
• Lead, train, and coach team members in pruning and line clearance.
• Communicate with customers about project issues and procedures.
• Inspect PPE and maintain equipment in good order.
• Coordinate and inspect crew work; ensure adherence to plans.
