Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee prep and production for a designated day part, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a minimum 2+ years in kitchen leadership, ServSafe Allergens certification, and the ability to live on-site during a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. Competitive seasonal pay with room & board included.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and adaptability with ingredients; able to identify Big 9 Allergens.

Aufgaben

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; manage Kosher/Nut-free/Gluten-free/Vegan protocols and sanitation.
• Manage inventory and assist daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
