Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for our rural summer camp program. This on-site role oversees day-part prep and production, leads kitchen staff, and ensures allergen safety and quality in a high-volume setting.

Join a fast-paced team during May–Sept, with full room and board, competitive pay, a performance bonus, and travel/expense support. Candidates must have 2+ years in kitchen leadership and ServSafe Allergens certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Proven leadership, cooking skills, ability to navigate I-Pad, allergen identification, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution and timely service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and uphold sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
