ISS Facility Services / Guckenheimer is seeking a Sous Chef in Fremont, CA to support the food program. You will assist in daily operations, ensure HACCP compliance, supervise staff, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and MVR check due to company vehicle use. Responsibilities include menu execution, inventory, staff training, and maintaining OSHA and Health Department guidelines.

Competenze

• Experience in overseeing food program and menu execution.
• HACCP, food safety, OSHA and health regulations knowledge.
• Ability to train, develop and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and company policies.

Mansioni

• Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and HR timelines.
• Monitor HACCP logs and assemble RTE menu items per recipes and standards.
• Oversee daily operations: production, purchasing, sanitation, and safety.
• Train, coach, and supervise staff; conduct reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and sustainability practices.
