Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes and deliver appealing plating.

The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume kitchen operations in healthcare settings and can support the Dietary Manager in their absence. This full-time role requires availability to work every other weekend on-site.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Healthcare or nursing facility food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive menu presentation.
• Liaise with Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure meal prep continuity.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotation, and assist with recipe development.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events.
