Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead blow molding tooling, process development, validation and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership to ensure safety, quality and performance.

You will partner with Product Development, R&D, Operations and Supply Chain to optimize tooling designs and equipment, drive continuous improvement of ISBM capabilities, and help reduce scrap while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering
• Experience with ISBM tooling and vendors
• Experience with mold qualification and validation
• Experience with DOE and statistical analysis
• Experience supporting production startup

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times
• Develop tooling standards and manage vendor relationships
• Support startup and production readiness across plants
• Create and maintain process control baselines and POA docs
• Mentor technicians and engineers in tooling and processing
