Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation while guiding mold design and production standards to meet safety, quality, and customer demands.

You will liaison with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and vendors to drive continuous improvement and standardization of ISBM manufacturing capabilities globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering or tooling engineering.
• 2+ years in project management preferred.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and vendors required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation and DOE/statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain Master Process Sheets and POA documentation.
• Provide technical support for startup, troubleshooting, and equipment qualification.
