Job summary
Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects across manufacturing operations. You will drive tooling design, process development, validation, and qualification, while guiding cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
The role partners with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure tooling and production systems meet customer requirements and quality standards, while advancing continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
- 5–8 years of plastics packaging manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding tooling and vendors is required.
- Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Experience supporting production startup and manufacturing operations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead all ISBM tooling projects from concept through implementation.
- Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs.
- Develop tooling standards and documentation for tooling and processes.
- Provide technical leadership and training across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain.
