Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation while providing technical leadership in mold manufacturing and process optimization.

You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and vendors to ensure tooling designs and production systems meet safety, quality and customer requirements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing or related.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and mold qualification.
• Experience with DOE and statistical analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specifications at designed cycle times.
• Create and maintain baseline processes and SOPs for tooling and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and vendors.
