Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow M molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, provide technical leadership, and ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met across multiple teams.

You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, vendors, and plant teams to standardize tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs.
• Develop and maintain standardized Master Process Sheets and POA documentation.
• Support machine startups involving new, transferred, modified, or repaired tooling and machines.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting processes, machines, tooling, quality, and productivity issues.
