Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, mold design validation, and process optimization across manufacturing operations. You will drive tooling projects from concept to implementation, collaborating with product development, R&D, operations, and external vendors to ensure safety, quality, and performance.

You will manage tooling specifications, QC, DOE, and process capability studies, while developing technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors is required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
• Maintain standardized Master Process Sheets and POA documentation.
