Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead tooling projects across manufacturing operations, from concept to implementation. You will drive mold design, qualification, process optimization, and equipment validation while collaborating with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet safety and quality standards.

You will develop technical standards, lead continuous improvement, and support ISBM capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding tooling and vendors is required.
• Experience conducting process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis is preferred.
• Experience supporting production startups and manufacturing operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to achieve dimensional, visual, and performance specifications at designed cycle times.
• Develop tooling standards, documentation, and project pipelines across sites.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting processes, machines, tooling, quality, and productivity issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related technical discipline
