Job summary

Amcor seeks a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, mold development, and process validation across manufacturing operations. You will guide cross-functional teams from concept through implementation, ensuring tooling designs meet safety, quality, and performance requirements.

You will drive process qualification, DOE, and continuous improvement, while supporting startups and scale-up across multiple plants with suppliers and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent
• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging, tooling, or related field
• Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and troubleshooting
• Project management experience preferred (2+ years)
• Experience working with ISBM tooling and vendors is required

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/replaced/rebuilt molds
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and technical documentation
• Train plant personnel on tooling systems and troubleshooting
• Support process capability studies, DOE, and quality initiatives
• Collaborate across Product Development, R&D, Ops, Supply Chain, Quality and vendors
