Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to drive ISBM tooling projects, from concept through validation, across our U.S. manufacturing operations.

You will lead mold design reviews, optimize molding processes, and ensure safety, quality and performance requirements are met. Collaboration with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and vendors is essential to deliver best-in-class tooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering.
• Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP, Windchill, Salesforce, MS Project and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for ISBM tooling.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional and performance specs.
• Maintain baseline processes and documentation, including DOEs and CP studies.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, and Vendors to ensure tooling compliance.
