Job summary

Amcor seeks a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, mold qualification, and process development across our US operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept through implementation while providing technical leadership in mold design, qualification, and process optimization to meet safety, quality and customer requirements.

You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and vendors, develop standards, drive continuous improvement, and train

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Plastics Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering.
Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding tooling and vendors.
Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new, replacement, and rebuilt molds.
Optimize molding processes to meet specs at designed cycle times.
Develop and maintain engineering standards and documentation.
Train plant personnel on machine processing and tooling maintenance.
Collaborate across Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors.
