Job summary
Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects, mold design, and validation across manufacturing sites. You will drive process optimization, oversee tooling specifications, and collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and suppliers to meet safety, quality, and performance targets.
The role requires a strong background in ISBM tooling, mold qualification, DoE, and SPC, with hands-on leadership in process improvements and cross-functional teamwork
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline is required.
- Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, validation, and troubleshooting preferred.
- Knowledge of process capability studies, DOE, SPC is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/rebuilt molds.
- Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional and performance specs within designed cycle times.
- Develop and maintain tooling standards, specifications, and supplier relationships.
- Provide technical support to startups, transfers, and production, driving continuous improvement.
