Job summary
Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling, process development, and validation across manufacturing operations in the United States. You will coordinate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Quality to ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met, while driving continuous improvement and technical standards.
The role requires strong mold engineering, project management, and data-driven problem solving, with responsibilities spanning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Plastics engineering or related field.
- 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering.
- Experience with ISBM tooling and mold qualification/validation.
- Knowledge of DOE, SPC, and data analysis for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for ISBM tooling.
- Optimize molding processes to meet specs within designed cycle times.
- Maintain process documentation, standard operating parameters, and tooling standards.
- Mentor technicians and engineers; drive continuous improvement across plants.
