Job summary

rjwlogistics is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to supervise stockroom and warehouse inventory management, ensuring accurate records, proper storage layouts, and timely cycle counts. You will organize inventories, analyze discrepancies, and guide a team to maintain compliance with procedures.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in Inventory Control, forklift/cherry picker experience, and proficiency with Synapse WMS and Microsoft Office. Some travel to other facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, coordinating Cycle Count programs, product rotation.
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.

Responsibilities

• Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors in items stored.
• Reviews records for accuracy and compliance; determines adequacy of stock levels.
• Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
• Prepares composite reports from individual inventory reports.
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommends remedial actions.
• Issue written/oral instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness and conformance to procedures.
• Travel to assist other facilities and maintain reliable transportation.
