Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to lead injection stretch blow mold sampling, qualification, and validation activities for new and rebuilt molds across manufacturing sites. You will work with plant technicians and quality engineers to drive process optimization, tooling changes, and best practices adoption.

The role requires hands-on experience with molding processes, tool design, and DOE studies, plus the ability to travel 50%–75% to support multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external customers.
• Experience with plastics processing and manufacturing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mold samplings & qualification for new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional limits within target cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for defined molding processes.
• Lead project meetings, tool design reviews and provide plant training as needed.
• Support plants with data collection, DOE studies and process improvements.
