Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to lead injection stretch blow molding sampling and qualification for new and rebuilt molds across the plant. You will liaise with plant technical roles to support startups, validate protocols, and drive corrective actions and tooling improvements.

The role emphasizes process optimization, DOE studies, and documenting best practices, with travel as needed and exposure to multi-site operations.

• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of mold samplings & qualification services on new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
• Optimize the molding process to meet dimensional limits at the designed cycle time.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding.
• Attend project and design meetings as required.
• Train plant personnel in technical areas including machine processing and tool design changes.
