Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to manage all aspects of injection stretch blow mold samplings and qualification services for new and rebuilt molds. You will optimize processes, support machine startups, and document best practices across manufacturing facilities.

The role requires strong engineering background, 5+ years in plastics packaging, and ability to travel. Base pay aligns with the national range and may include incentive plans and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with internal and external customers.
• Minimum of 5 years’ processing experience in plastics packaging.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mold sampling and qualification on new, replacement or rebuilt tooling.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits within designated cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding processes.
• Lead design reviews, tool specification meetings and project communications.
• Train plant personnel in machine operation, process control and tooling changes.
