Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive data-driven change across multiple operations in the United States.

You will supervise CI engineering and quality professionals, develop strategies, and coach teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth targets. You will lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and performance reporting while partnering with senior leadership to implement standardized lean processes and analytics across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry.
• Lean Six Sigma, required
• Experience with QA/QMS and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead strategy development, scorecarding and KPI action plans.
• Provide training and mentoring on Lean methods and analytics.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analysis and Lean tools.
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping & Kaizen Events and track results.
• Direct CI activities across customer accounts and maintain sustainment.
