Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a 2nd Shift Lead Industrial Electrician for Fort Atkinson, WI, focusing on packaging automation and NEC code compliance. Lead technical resource for the 2nd shift, overseeing electrical infrastructure, MCCs, VFDs, sensors, and automated networks.

Requires 1+ years of industrial electrical experience in automated manufacturing, ability to work safely at heights, and US work authorization within a 45-minute radius of Fort Atkinson.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in automated manufacturing, packaging, or continuous-processing facilities.
• Prior experience in regulated environments (food/beverage) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret multi-page electrical schematics and control logic prints.
• Experience diagnosing issues across automated packaging networks, VFDs, MCCs, sensors, and conveyors.
• Comfort working at heights, using aerial lifts, and handling high-voltage enclosures safely.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder within 45-minute radius of Fort Atkinson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary 2nd shift technical authority for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plant electrical infrastructure, automated panels, and control circuits.
• Trace complex electrical schematics to diagnose component failures and minimize downtime.
• Ensure NEC and code compliance in all repairs and upgrades.
• Maintain shift maintenance logs and update electrical drawings reflecting field modifications.
• Safely access and service overhead power networks using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S workstation and uphold safety/sanitation protocols.
