Job summary

Walmart in Morristown, TN seeks an experienced HVAC/R Technician to install, configure and maintain commercial refrigeration and building automation across multiple facilities.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, lead field teams, and mentor apprentices while adhering to OSHA and EPA guidelines. The role includes on‑call rotations, driving a company vehicle, and coordinating with managers and service partners.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification (Type I/II or Universal) and 2 years’ maintenance/ construction experience.
• Option 2: 4 years’ mechanical maintenance or related field experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (R- I, II or universal).
• Ability to read blueprintss, schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC/R equipment and refrigeration components, including controls.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on technical procedures and safety.
• Operate company vehicle and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Coordinate with customers, managers, and service partners; document work orders.
