Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, to install and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems in our facilities. You will diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

You will lead field teams, mentor colleagues, and coordinate service activities to optimize system performance while adhering to OSHA and EPA 608 protocols. Strong communication with customers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2+ years in mechanical maintenance or construction for commercial HVAC/R
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and building codes

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial/industrial settings
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Lead field teams and mentor colleagues
• Manage service calls and document inventory
