Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems at Morristown, TN. You will read and apply building plans, calibrate direct digital controls, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading field teams, coordinating with service partners, and participating in on-call rotations while maintaining vehicle and equipment, inventory, and service records.

Qualifications

HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction for commercial HVAC/R.
EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
Valid state driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

Install and service HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and control panels.
Interpret plans and calibrate low ambient systems and direct digital controls.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
Lead field teams and mentor technicians and apprentices.
Operate company vehicle and participate in on-call rotation.
Submit warranty claims, expense reports, and work orders.
Ensure safety, OSHA/EPA compliance, and effective customer communication.
