D.R. Horton, Inc. is looking for a Superintendent to oversee all job-site activities from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors, homeowner walkthroughs, and inspections to meet company standards.

The role emphasizes scheduling, budget awareness, and customer service while ensuring safety and quality in home construction. A HS diploma is required, with two to four years of related experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two to four years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Proven budget management and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure quality product is delivered on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each phase of construction and evaluate workmanship.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy, ensuring all obligations are met.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work; authorize payments upon satisfactory completion.
