D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage multiple home sites from permit to closing, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring on-time delivery of quality homes. The role emphasizes customer service throughout construction and strict adherence to safety standards.

You will oversee scheduling, inspections, and warranty follow-ups while maintaining cost control and effective communication with sales and management teams. Travel between communities is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations and building codes.
• Proficient in MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors for each construction phase and inspect workmanship for compliance.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy, meeting contract obligations.
• Oversee customer experience during construction with proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor site cleanliness and safety, and manage post-close warranty processes.
