Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead multiple foremen on large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects in Cincinnati. You will supervise onsite activities, focus on safety, production, and profitability, and coordinate with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and engineers to drive project success.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and at least 6 years of field management experience, with roadway/highway exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 6+ years of field management experience.
• Roadway/Highway project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage foremen to ensure safe, productive, high-quality work.
• Set a 24/7 safety culture for crews.
• Assist Project Manager in creating project schedules.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week crew schedules.
• Plan with crews and set goals.
• Oversee costs for work items.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs.
• Schedule subcontractors.
