Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead heavy highway and bridge projects in the Ohio region.

You will supervise foremen, drive safety culture, and collaborate with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to keep schedules, costs, and quality on track. This role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 6+ years in large-scale field management, with roadway/highway experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
• 6+ years of field construction management experience
• Roadway/Highway experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several Foremen to conduct work safely and productively
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews
• Assist the Project Manager in creating the project schedule
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews
• Oversee costs associated with work items
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews and subcontractors
