Job summary

Kokosing, a leading general contractor, seeks a seasoned on-site Superintendent/Field Manager to oversee large Highway/Bridge projects. You will lead foremen, ensure safety, schedule development, and coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors while controlling costs.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 6+ years of field management experience preferred; roadway/highway experience a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years field management on roadway/highway projects preferred.
• Strong safety knowledge and compliance with regulations.
• Ability to develop schedules and manage crews.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen on safe, productive work with quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews.
• Assist PM in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week crew schedules.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs for work items and budgets.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and materials.
• Schedule subcontractors and manage interfaces.
