Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a skilled Superintendent to supervise multiple foremen on large heavy highway/bridge projects in Dayton, OH. You will coordinate with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to direct project safety, production, and profitability on site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience, 6+ years in field management, and strong leadership. Roadway experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical progression.
• 6+ years of field management experience in heavy highway/roadway/bridge construction.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Foremen and crews to work safely, productively, and with quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews.
• Assist PM in creating project schedules and develop 90-day and 3-week plans.
• Oversee costs, manpower, equipment, and material needs for crews.
• Coordinate subcontractors and schedule trade activities.
• Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
