Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to oversee heavy highway/bridge projects in Ohio. You will supervise foremen, drive a 24/7 safety culture, and coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality work.

The role partners with the Operations Manager and Project Manager to achieve safety, production, and profitability goals. A Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in field leadership are required; roadway experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• (6+) years similar construction Field Management experience.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several Foreman on conducting work safely, productively, and focusing on quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for your crews.
• Assists the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with your work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
