Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead onsite highway/bridge projects in Charleston, WV. You will supervise skilled trades, partner with the Operations Manager, and drive safety, schedule adherence, production, and profitability.

Responsibilities include directing foremen, developing 90-day and 3-week schedules in Excel, coordinating manpower, equipment, and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 6+ years of field management experience in construction.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise foremen to maintain safety, productivity, and quality.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials for crews.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
• Assist the Project Manager in creating the project schedule and tracking progress.
• Oversee costs, safety compliance, and project profitability.
