Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects in Westerville, OH. You will supervise foremen, coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors, and drive safety, production, and profitability on site.

The role requires a civil engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience, 6+ years in field leadership, and strong scheduling and communication skills. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks.
• 6+ years of field management experience on roadway/highway projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen and crews to perform work safely and efficiently.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Assist Project Manager in creating the project schedule and budget.
• Oversee costs associated with work items and manage resources.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling, material needs, and subcontractors.
• Maintain and enforce safety policies and procedures on site.
