Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Superintendent/Foreman to lead skilled trades on large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects. You will supervise foremen, drive safety, productivity, and quality while stewarding budgets and schedules.

You’ll partner with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and engineers to plan, schedule, and coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 6+ years field management experience, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of related construction field management experience.
• Roadway/Highway experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen to ensure safe, productive, high-quality work.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews.
• Assist the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
