Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Superintendent to supervise skilled trades and manage onsite activities for large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects in Charleston, WV. You will drive safety, production, and profitability while leading foremen and coordinating crews, equipment, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with 6+ years of field management experience, especially in roadways/highways, and a strong focus on communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks.
• 6+ years of similar construction Field Management experience.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred and a strong plus.
• Understand safety laws and company policies; plan and direct work; manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen to supervise on-site work safely, productively, and with quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews and ensure adherence to policies.
• Assist Project Manager with project scheduling and budgeting.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
