Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in our Arizona location to support the Restaurant General Manager, lead shifts, ensure fast, accurate service, uphold legendary hospitality, and coach crew to hit guest experience and performance targets.

You will manage front of house and back of house operations, oversee labor and food cost, maintain safety and cleanliness, participate in hiring and training, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus).
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
