Popeyes in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach a fast-moving crew, and deliver the brand’s legendary hospitality.

As AGM, you’ll partner with the Restaurant General Manager to drive guest satisfaction, manage staffing and costs, uphold food safety, and mentor teammates to grow with the Popeyes family. This leadership role rewards initiative, teamwork, and a passion for great food in a busy, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of restaurant or retail management experience (QSR a plus).
• People-first leadership style with hands-on, lead-by-example approach.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence—ensure speed, accuracy, and guest experiences.
• Coach and mentor team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
