Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Arizona to support daily restaurant operations, coach the crew, and deliver Popeyes hospitality. The AGM will lead shifts, manage labor and costs, and ensure safety and quality standards while promoting a positive, inclusive team culture.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in restaurant or retail management, a hands-on leadership style, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus)
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence - ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
