Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering legendary Southern hospitality.

The AGM will lead shifts, monitor quality and safety, manage labor and costs, and help hire, onboard, and train team members in Gilbert, Arizona—reflecting a hands-on leadership style in a fast-paced environment that values great food and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of restaurant/retail management experience (QSR a plus).
• People-first leadership with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with great food.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Familiar with managing food and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence – ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
