Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Generator Technician Supervisor to lead and develop a team of field service technicians responsible for startup, service, and repair of industrial generators and related equipment. The role blends hands-on technical work with strong supervisory responsibilities.

You will train technicians, oversee field operations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with management on staffing and project execution. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Generac Master Technician certification or equivalent required.
• High level of switchgear expertise and hands‑on electrical knowledge.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach a field team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• English literacy for reports and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct field service technicians within territory.
• Evaluate performance, coach, and develop training programs.
• Assign staff to field support and mentorship roles.
• Collaborate with Service Director to resolve performance issues.
• Recruit and hire field service technicians.
• Serve as first contact for technical support and parts delivery.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on generators.
• Lead safety initiatives and quality control in turf area.
