Job summary

National Power, LLC seeks an experienced Generator Technician Supervisor to lead service operations and a team of technicians responsible for startup, service and repair of generators and related equipment. You will train, develop, and direct field crews while ensuring safety and quality across the geographic territory.

You will collaborate with the Service Director, recruit field staff, and manage escalations, planning, and quotes for complex service projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Generac Master Technician or equivalent certification and training required.
• High level of expertise with switchgear.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of technicians.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; good reading of manuals.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of assigned service technicians within geographic territory.
• Coach and develop technicians; provide training programs to raise technical knowledge.
• Identify and assign team members to provide field support and mentorship.
• Collaborate with Service Director on staffing and performance issues.
• Recruiting and hiring field service technicians; serve as point of contact for support and escalations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on generators and related equipment.
• Oversee safety initiatives and QC procedures; ensure proper documentation.
• Assist planning, quoting, and execution of complex service projects.
• Provide after-hours emergency response support; occasional overnight travel.
