Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Generator Technician to train, develop, and direct an assigned group of service technicians responsible for startup, service, and repair of industrial generators and related equipment. You will lead field operations, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across the geographic territory.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate service activities, planning, and quoting for complex projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Generac Master Technician or equivalent certification and training is required.
• High level of expertise with switchgear.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills required.
• Ability to manage a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of assigned service technicians within geographic territory.
• Evaluate performance, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs to improve technical knowledge and overall performance.
• Identify and assign team members to provide field support and mentorship to other service technicians.
• Partner with Service Director to resolve performance or behavioral issues and determine staffing needs.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring of field service technicians.
• Provide after-hours emergency response support as needed.
• Occasional overnight travel required.
