Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Generator Technician supervisor to lead field service teams in startup, service, and repair of industrial generators and related equipment across the territory.

You will train and direct technicians, coordinate preventive and emergency maintenance, and ensure safety and quality controls while delivering exceptional customer support. Position requires travel and remote, home-based work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Generac Master Technician or equivalent certification and training is required.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.
• Overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of service technicians across territory.
• Evaluate performance, coach, and develop training.
• Assign team members for field support and mentorship.
• Partner with Service Director to resolve performance issues.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring of field technicians.
• Serve as first contact for phone and field support, troubleshoot and coordinate parts.
• Conduct preventive and emergency maintenance, startup, repair of generators.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement of field operations.
• Provide customer-focused support to strengthen relationships.
• Support planning and quoting of complex service projects.
• Assist with Generac warranty process administration.
• Advise on time and materials for service levels.
• Provide after-hours emergency response as needed.
• Occasional overnight travel required.
