Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking an experienced Generator Technician with leadership responsibilities to supervise and develop a team of service technicians who startup, service, and repair industrial generators and related equipment. You will train, direct, and coach an assigned group while ensuring safety and high-quality service across the territory.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise in generator systems, strong leadership, and the ability to work with service customers and install

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Generac Master Technician or equivalent certification and training required.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of assigned service technicians within geographic territory.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve technical knowledge and performance.
• Coordinate field support and mentorship for other technicians.
• Partner with Service Director to resolve performance issues and staffing needs.
• Participate in recruiting and hiring of field service technicians.
• Serve as first point of contact for phone and field support; troubleshoot and arrange parts delivery.
